Dhakuri Trek
Dhakuri is one of the most popular destinations for the snow and mountain lovers, the place is covered with the snow in the peak. A short trek from the campsite to Dhakuri-Khal offers even better views of the mountains, especially at sunrise. Treks in Dhakuri can be a wonderful experience which is an antidote to city stress of daily life and memories are cherished lifelong. While trekking one relishes the pure air and the silence of the wilderness and feels the awakening of senses dulled by urban living. As one walks through the vales and dales and past quaint villages, mountains take up strange and wonderful shapes and the beauty of the Himalayas unfolds itself before the visitor. While trekking one can enjoy the exquisite beauty of identifying peaks, mountains, rivers and places around that becomes a good pastime. And whether one can climb the next hilltop becomes more important than anything else in life. At the foot of the Pindari Glacier stands the Chilta Summit, its serene environ is ideal for meditation. The glacier commands a spectacular view of the Himalayan ranges.
Why Dhakuri Old Trek Route Choose
Now with the arrival of the vehicles all the trekkers directly go to Khati Village and start trek to Pindari Glacier. This track route of Dhakuri is now lost somewhere. So we thought of trekking on this track again. Very few trekkers go on this route. If the trekkers go on this route, from March to April this route is blooming with Buransh flowers. With less people going here, one gets to see the beauty of this place. While walking on the route, you will find many beautiful flowers and lots of goats roaming in the Bugyals.
Maa Chilta Devi: Chilta Devi is around 4 km from Dhakuri. From here you can see the peaks of Himalayas and enjoy the Bugyal while walking on the way. Chiltha Mata Temple Top, offering panoramic views of the Pindari and Sunderdhunga ranges, as well as peaks like Nanda Kot, Nanda Devi, Maiktoli, Panwali Dwar,baljuri and Trishul.

Day 1 Bageshwer to Loharkhet Village. (60 kms,)
Today After breakfast we move early for Loharkhet Village.
After reaching Loharkhet Village. We will visit local village.
Night stay in Home stay /Guest House
Day 2Loharkhet Village to Dhakuri (11 kms,)
After Breakfast we will trek to Dhakuri. The trek is surrounded by evergreen trees like oak, horse chestnut and rhododendron. The trek to Dhakuri is approximately 11 kilometers and takes around 5-6 hours. The trail passes through Dhakuri Pass (2940m) and involves a gradual uphill climb followed by a descent into Dhakuri. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the region, including views of the Trishul, Devtoli, Maiktoli, and Nandakhat peaks, as well as forests and meadows.
Lunch On the way
Overnight stay in Dhakuri (2650m) in a guesthouse or campsite.
Day 3 Trek to Chilta devi Temple. (Trek 3-4Km, 3Hrs Approx.)
After breakfast we will trek to chilta devi temple. It is a high point of the area and from here you can see the mesmerizing view of Himalaya. You can see Mt. Macktoli, Mt. Changujh, Mt. Nandakot, Mt. Pawali Dwar etc.
Day 3 Dhakuri to Bageshwer and Kathgodam
On the last day of the tour, we will have breakfast early in the morning and afterwards, we will trek to dhur Village the last road head point. Here we board on pre-arranged jeeps. From here we will leave by road for Bageshwer. After that you will continue your drive to Kathgodam /Haldwani. After reach Kathgodam its time to say bye to all of you, Trip ends here with unforgettable memories.

COSTS EXCLUDES:

• Wagons or servants for personal or baggage use
• anything not expressly stated under the heading
PAYMENT POLICY:
A) 46 days or more before date of departure: 25% of total cost.
B) 31- 45 days before date of departure: 50% of total cost.
C) 30 days before date of departure: 100% of total cost.
IMPORTANT: The booking stands liable to be cancelled if 100% payment is not received less than 30 days before date of departure.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
For the cancellation of trek services due to any avoidable / unavoidable reasons, we must be notified of the same in writing:
*CANCELLATION CHARGES PER PERSON
a) 30 days or more before the departure date: 25% of the total cost.
b) 29 - 20 days before the departure date: 50% of total cost.
c) Less than 20 days before the departure day: 100% of the total cost.
*IF WE CHANGE OR CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY
We do plan the arrangements in advance. It is unlikely that we will have to make any changes to your travel arrangements.
Occasionally, we may have to make changes and we reserve the right to do so at any time. If there are any changes, we will advise you of them at the earliest possible date. We also reserve the right under any circumstances to cancel you travel arrangements by assigning reasons to you.
If we are unable to provide the booked travel arrangements due to reasons beyond control ( e.g. bad weather, insufficient bookings) we shall first try to offer alternative dates for the tour if the tour has'nt already commenced. If the alternate arrangement does not suit you, we will refund the amount in full.
*IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE YOUR HOLIDAY PLAN
After confirmation of services, if you wish to change your travel arrangements in any way (e.g. your chosen departure date or accommodation), we will do our utmost to make these changes but it may not always be possible.
Any request for changes must be in writing from the person who made the booking. All cost incurred due to amendment will be borne by you.
All booking vouchers and tickets will be provided 3 days before departure.
NOTE:
1)- Change of trek batch is dependent on the availability of seats in the batch.
2)- In case of transferring a trek to a friend, he/ she should satisfy all the mandatory requirements put forward by Himal Trek & Tour .
3)- Himal Trek & Tour holds the right to change/cancel the policies, without prior notice.

If a trip must be delayed or the itinerary changed due to bad weather, road conditions, transportation delays, government intervention, airline schedules, sickness, or other contingency for which Himal Trek & Tour or its agents cannot make provision, the cost of delays and/or other changes are the responsibility of the participant. Himal Trek & Tour reserves the right to decline, or accept, any individual as a trip member for any reason whatsoever.

*Written cancellation will be accepted on working days (only). Any cancellation sent on a Sunday or any National Holiday(s), will be considered on the next official working day.
*In the event of any cancellation(s) after trip commencement, there will be no refunds and any costs incurred due to this cancellation will be borne by you.
Irrespective of when a trip is booked, the above condition will hold true.
HOW TO REACH
How to get to Kathgodam:
The Kathgodam station is one of the main stations in the district and it is an old station. It has good connectivity to many places and these include Lucknow, Delhi, and Howrah.

DO’S AND DON’TS ON A TREK
1.Alcohols or any other intoxicating products "STRICTLY PROHIBHITED" during the trek.
2.Always pay heed to the trek guides or instructors.
3.Try not to leave the group under any circumstances.
4.Avoid trekking during the nights as it is extremely dangerous.
5.Avoid using earphones as that might hinder your hearing.
6.Do not participate or encourage littering of the places in any form.
7.While visiting the local villages and tourist sites, obey the local guidelines and instructions.
8.Do not harm or interrupt the local sentiments of the places.
IMPORTANT:
Your safety is of paramount concern while travelling with Himal Trek & Tour.
Please note that your leader has the authority to amend or cancel any part of the itinerary if it is deemed necessary due to safety concerns.
Since adventure entails travelling in remote mountainous regions, we cannot guarantee that we will not deviate from it. Weather conditions, health condition of a group member, unexpected natural disasters, etc., can all contribute to changes in the itinerary. The leader will try to ensure that the trip runs according to plan, but please be prepared to be flexible if required.
